We had 2 teams competing in the Tennis Munster Winter League Phase 2 with lots of amazing tennis being played.

The XD6 team played their 4 sessions in the round robin phase between January and March with home games against Nenagh and Hazelwood and travelled away to Bandon and Lakewood.  The team played a blinder but despite winning 180 games across their 16 matches, they did not progress into the knock out stages.  Well done to all the team members Anne Gardiner, Teresa Murray, Carol Sweeney, Ronan Toland, David Williams, Simon Griffin, Radhakrishna Donthu, Noel Nestor and Julian D'Arcy.

The XD2 team are still in the competition having placed 5th overall after the round robin winning 12 of their 16 matches across 4 sessions between January and March with home games against Killaloe/Ballina and Monkstown and travelled away to Tramore and Ballinlough.  They won their last 16 elimination match 3-1 against Rushbrooke on March 22nd that took place at Limerick Lawn Tennis Club.  Next up is the Quarter Finals - congratulations to Annette Mason, Gillian Whitney, Tomasz Judkowiak and Cezary Wisniewsky on your performance to date and best of luck in the Quarter Final from everyone in the club!!!
